Dr. Tina Witten was admitted to the Bar in 2005 and recognized as a lawyer specializing in employment law in 2008. Between 2005 and 2014, she worked for the international law firm of Latham & Watkins LLP in the field of employment law. She gained further experience as a lawyer in the Employment Law Department of the international law firm of Allen & Overy LLP. She provides legal assistance to small and medium-sized as well as large enterprises on all questions of employment law. Her work focuses in particular on the conduct of legal proceedings before the Labour Courts, on questions relating to works constitution law, the various models of company pension schemes and advice given in connection with restructuring and transactions. Dr. Tina Witten represents board members and executives on a regular basis.

 

Dr. Tina Witten studied Law at the Universities of Göttingen and Poitiers (France). After graduation, she worked as a PhD student at the Institute for Employment Law of the University of Göttingen. She wrote her doctoral dissertation on a subject relating to the law governing the supply of temporary staff. Before she started practising as a lawyer, she was a judge at the courts of law of Schleswig-Holstein, the most northerly German region.

 

Dr. Tina Witten regularly publishes articles in specialist journals and is the co-author of a collection of model texts, "Formularbuch Arbeitsrecht", published by Deutscher Anwaltverlag.
